Crediting creating 'The Rel Carter Culture Tour' as his first national industry opportunity, the recording artist has since worked on album projects with Ne-Yo, served on the board of a 7-figure tech start-up and spent time as executive assistant to Janet Jackson’s executive team. He’s spent years curating platforms and initiatives designed to support artist development and now more recently launching his own Distribution imprint, Soundcheck.
.Previously Director of A&R for Roc Nation; Recently appointed Director of Artist Relations for Roc Nation’s Distribution platform Equity. Nephew of Rap Icon Jay-Z, Rel has consistently exhibited determination to create a path of his own that doesn’t rely solely on his family history. The executive and music entrepreneur currently influences and supports the journey’s of artists around the country with several tour based programming platforms including The Rel Carter Culture Tour and The Art of Music Tour. He most recently announced the beginning of work on his 2nd artist compilation album No Handouts 2 and was awarded “Innovator of the Year” via Nerve DJ’s.
Courtney “SnapsNYC” Nelson is an absolute powerhouse in the industry. Early in her career, Courtney established herself as a professional photographer and videographer that transitioned into a producer and radio personality for VIP Saturdays on SiriusXM Shade45. Snaps continued to grow as an entrepreneur and develop into the media maven she is today by opening her own boutique Lucky Finds in 2015 and creating Snaps Media Group in 2020. Focusing more on Public Relations, Marketing, Brand Management and Curating Celebrity Events, Snaps has worked with many artists such as Safaree, Papoose, Remy Ma, 2 Chainz and Jermaine Dupri, just to name a few.
